For over three decades, Shah Rukh Khan has not only acted; he has woven his films into the fabric of our lives. From the serious anti-hero of the 90s to the action-packed patriarch of today – SRK’s journey is a reflection of the evolution of Indian cinema. PVR Inox has announced this festival on 17 October 2025 to honour this unparalleled legacy – a love letter before his birthday. “Shah Rukh Khan is not just a global icon – he is an emotion,” says Niharika Bijli, Lead Strategist, PVR Inox. Echoing her, Executive Director Sanjeev Kumar Bijli adds that the festival “further strengthens SRK’s connection with the audience.”

But why two weeks? It's like a crescendo - a gradual build-up of excitement towards November 2. The festival is not limited to Mumbai or Delhi; it has spread from tier-II cities like Lucknow, Jaipur to Dubai, New York. Lineup: Seven gems of romance, rebellion and liberation

At the heart of the festival are seven films – each a chapter in SRK's evolution. Selected in collaboration with studios and distributors, these films will bring laughter, tears and applause. Let's dive in:

১. Poet Yes Poet No (1994)– SRK Sunil – lost in love, yet still smiling in Kundan Shah’s underrated rom-com. Jazz band in the backdrop of Goa, unexpected love. It’s the perfect light start to the festival. The hall sways to the song “Ae Kaash Ke Hum”.

২. Dil Se.. (1998)– SRK falls in love with radio journalist Manisha Koirala’s Meghna in Mani Ratnam’s political thriller-romance. “Chaiya Chaiya” set to music by AR Rahman is still immortal today. It is a symbol of intensity at the festival.

৩. Devdas (2002)– SRK in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic Devdas – torn between Aishwarya Rai’s Paro and Madhuri Dixit’s Chandramukhi. Songs like “Dola Re Dola”, seven National Awards. This is a celebration of SRK’s dramatic depth.

৪. Main Hu Ni (2004)– SRK as Major Ram Prasad Sharma in Farah Khan's mix of action-comedy-patriotism. The chemistry with Sushmita Sen is wonderful. The story behind the song "Kakka" is a birthday surprise.
