On Monday, SpaceX launched its new Falcon 9 rocket into space. The private space company usually sends communications satellites or scientific equipment into space. On this mission, however, the rocket carried a spy satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office, or NRO. The NRO is responsible for gathering intelligence for the government.
