It has been finalized that a meeting will be held between the Chief Advisor of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman during his visit to London. Diplomatic sources in Dhaka and London confirmed the matter to Kalbela.
This important meeting is going to take place as the Chief Advisor contacted Tarique Rahman for a meeting and the BNP also responded positively to the meeting. Although no official statement has been made by the Chief Advisor's office or BNP yet.
A responsible government official told Kalbela that it has been finalized that BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will meet the Chief Advisor in London. Their meeting will be held between 10 am and 11 am on June 13. The meeting will last for about an hour between the Chief Advisor of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, and BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman at the Dorchester Hotel in London.
When asked if there was any special agenda in the meeting, the official said that the meeting may discuss the upcoming national parliamentary elections, the current political context, and possible compromises or strategic positions of political parties.

The Chief Advisor will meet with Britain's King Charles III at Buckingham Palace during his visit to London and receive the 'King Charles Harmony Award'.
