Narendra Modi has taken oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time in a row. Members of his new cabinet were also sworn in. The President of India Draupadi Murmu administered the oath to them at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital New Delhi on Sunday evening.

Modi's cabinet now has 30 full ministers. There are 36 state ministers. Five people have become state ministers without offices.

This year's cabinet has several new faces. Again, many previous ministers could not make it to this list.

Members of Modi's new cabinet include Nitin Gadkari, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Nirmala Sitharaman, S Jaishankar, Manohar Lal Khattar, HD Kumaraswamy, Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Jitan Ram Manji, Sarbananda Sonowal, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Virender Kumar, K Ram Mohan Naidu, Prahlad Joshi, Jual Oram, G Kishan Reddy, Kiren Rijiju, Chirag Paswan, Hardeep Singh Puri, Mansukh Mandaviya, Bhupendra Yadav, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Giriraj Singh, Ashwini Vishnu and Rao Indrajit Singh.


Modi's swearing-in ceremony was attended by top leaders including Presidents, Prime Ministers of various countries. Meanwhile, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in New Delhi on Saturday.

Apart from the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, President of Maldives Mohamed Muijju, Vice President of Seychelles Ahmed Afif, Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Kumar Jagannath, Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachand and Prime Minister of Bhutan Tshering Togbe attended the swearing in ceremony.

During her stay in New Delhi, Sheikh Hasina will meet Narendra Modi after attending the swearing-in ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. He is scheduled to leave New Delhi for Dhaka tomorrow Monday afternoon
