Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has announced a plan to launch  with the aim of creating new players in the country's sports arena. He said, we want to start sports competitions between schools and different classes in every district, upazila and union of the country.

He outlined this plan in his speech after the friendly football match organized at the National Stadium on Thursday.

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman said, on behalf of our government and during the expected elections held in Bangladesh a few days ago, we also said in our party manifesto that we want to create new players in various sports in the sports world of Bangladesh. We want to give a professional form to the game. For that, we have decided that we want to launch the program called New Bud Sports here as well.

Tarique Rahman said, "Not only new bud sports, we have a plan. We want to start sports competitions between schools and different classes in every district, upazila and union of Bangladesh."

The Prime Minister also said, "We have a goal, we want to try. In the future, we have plans and efforts to bring more respect and produce good players from the sports that are held in various international forums."

The Prime Minister said, "On this Independence Day, we all decide, we try... There are many people in Bangladesh who are directly and indirectly associated with sports, and I would like to request everyone to build a beautiful sports world regardless of party affiliation. This sport can bring respect, this sport can create bonds of friendship."

The Prime Minister's daughter, Barrister Jaima Rahman, was present at the time. Also present were Minister for Forests, Environment and Climate Abdul Awal Mintu, Minister of State for Fisheries and Livestock Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Minister of State for Road Transport and Railways Habibur Rashid Habib, Minister of State for Sports Aminul Islam, Prime Minister's Press Secretary Saleh Shibli and Additional Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.
