Dr.Yunus- If Bangladesh is destabilized, India's Northeast region, Myanmar will also be affected

The day before returning to Bangladesh to lead the interim government, Nobel-winning professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said in a television interview that restoring law and order will be the first task of the new government. He said, if that is not done, it will be dangerous for the neighbors if Bangladesh is not stable. If Bangladesh is unstable, it will affect the North-Eastern region of India, West Bengal, Myanmar everywhere.

Dr. Yunus said, 'We have to remember that Bangladesh is a country of 170 million people. Most of the population is youth. None of them could vote in their lives. Returning that right will be the main task. We have to start from there. They have to say, democracy will return. All of you will be his partners.

The Nobel laureate economist of Bangladesh gave this interview to India's private television channel NDTV today. In response to a question, he said that there is no law and order in the country today because of this instability. Demands for the Prime Minister's resignation grew stronger as law and order broke down and he was forced to do so. Now people are celebrating that fall. After December 16, 1971, this is the country's second Independence Day. The first was Pakistan's emancipation from slavery, this time from an authoritarian government. A new era has begun. People are now tasting liberation.

Muhammad Yunus commented that stability will return from the instability that the celebration has created. In response to another question from NDTV, the Nobel laureate said that Sheikh Hasina had destabilized the country by depriving the people of democracy. It must be remembered that democracy is the antidote to instability. This time the people of Bangladesh will get a taste of real democracy. Will witness transparent elections. That is the main goal of this revolution.

In response to another question about Islamic fundamentalism, extremism, breaking the statue of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, etc., Professor Yunus said that Sheikh Hasina is responsible for all these incidents. He ruined his father's image. He has poisoned the minds of the people of the country in such a way that today people are doing such things out of fear. Hasina is responsible for this.

The Nobel laureate economist said, 'Fixing law and order is now the number one task, which Hasina has failed. That is why his government collapsed like this. This would not have happened if the rule of law had been enforced. What is going on in the country now is the continuation of Hasina's rule. We now have to make sure that people go home after the celebrations. Will focus on work. Will work freely.

When asked whether he has an idea about what will happen to Hasina, even if she is in India for the time being, which country will she go to? Yunus said, he cannot say anything about this. He did not talk to anyone. But it will not be right for him to stay in India.

The potential head of the interim government of Bangladesh said that if Bangladesh is truly democratic, the country's minorities will also be safe. Their speech will prevail. will be important. will be acceptable. Minorities can vote. They can choose their own representatives, as the minorities in India do.
