BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman was the chief guest at the workshop held at the BNP Chairperson's office in Gulshan, the capital, on Wednesday.
The day-long workshop was chaired by BNP Standing Committee Member Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, and was attended by the party's Standing Committee members Nazrul Islam Khan and Salahuddin Ahmed, BNP Chairperson's Advisor Ismail Zabiullah, BNP Media Cell Convener Dr. Moudud Hossain Alamgir Pavel, and Tarique Rahman's Advisor Dr. Mahdi Amin.
The training workshop was conducted by BNP Student Affairs Secretary Rakibul Islam Bakul.

It is worth noting that on July 13, 2023, BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman presented the '31-point plan for repairing the state structure' to the nation.
Participating in the training workshop, the speakers said that a victory for democratic forces in a free, fair, impartial and participatory election is necessary to return the rights and ownership of the state to the people. And after this victory, they mentioned that the national government of consensus will undertake transformative reform activities in the state in light of the 31-point plan.
The outline of the '31 points for repairing the state structure' includes: (1) Formation of a Constitutional Reform Commission, (2) Establishment of a harmonious 'integrated state entity' and formation of a 'National Coordination Commission', (3) Reintroduction of a party-neutral caretaker government system during elections, (4) Establishment of a balance of state power, (5) Determination of the term of office of the Prime Minister, (6) Introduction of an upper house in the Legislative Assembly, (7) Amendment of Article 70 of the Constitution, (8) Reform of the Election Commission and the electoral system and amendment of related laws and regulations, (9) Complete restructuring of all state, constitutional and statutory institutions to ensure transparency, (10) Formation of a Judicial Commission, Reintroduction of the Supreme Judicial Council and enactment of a law on the appointment of judges in light of the Constitution, (11) Formation of an Administrative Reform Commission, (12) Formation of a Media Commission, (13) Taking visible and effective measures to prevent corruption and appointing an Ombudsman, (14) Establishment of the rule of law and human rights at all levels, (15) Economic Formation of a reform commission, (16) Providing maximum guarantees of religious freedom, (17) Ensuring fair wages for labor considering inflation, (18) Modernizing the industry, power, mineral and energy sectors and establishing good governance, (19) Developing foreign relations by ensuring the priority of national interests, (20) Keeping the defense forces above all controversies, (21) Making local government institutions autonomous and empowered for the purpose of decentralization, (22) Providing state status and recognition to martyred freedom fighters, (23) Formulating a modern and contemporary youth development policy, (24) Taking appropriate steps for women's empowerment, (25) Developing an educated population capable of facing future challenges through implementing a demand-based and knowledge-based education system, (26) Implementing the "Health for All" policy, (27) Ensuring fair prices for agricultural products by protecting farmers' production and marketing, (28) Modernizing roads, railways, waterways and establishing a multi-dimensional communication system, (29) Addressing climate change-related crises and natural disasters. Taking effective steps to deal with disasters and initiatives for river governance and canal excavation, (30) ensuring the development and optimal use of information and communication technology, space research and atomic energy, and (31) formulating and implementing timely, planned, environmentally friendly housing and urbanization policies.
According to relevant sources, the outline of the '31-point state structure repair' has been revised and expanded based on the consensus of all political parties participating in the simultaneous movement in light of the '19-point' program announced by BNP founder martyr President Ziaur Rahman and the '27-point' program announced by BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
